Die Installation Beyond the Badges ist eine Erweiterung des kollaborativen Filmprojekts „Xterminating Badges“ mit der Kantonspolizei Zürich. Zu sehen sind neben einer multimedialen Installation, Keramik Objekte, die zusammen mit den Polizist*innen beim Workshop entwickelt und von ihnen selbst modelliert wurden. Die Skulpturen vereinen Tiere und Arbeitsgeräte der Polizist*innen: Pfefferspray-Pinguin, Taser-Huhn, Elefanten-Polizeiauto, Schlagstock-Schlange und Computermaus-Handschelle. Sicherheit und Freiheit stehen sich im Museum gegenüber. Der Polizeihund (Sicherheit) ist gekommen um den Jaguar (Freiheit) zu verhaften.

The installation Beyond the Badges is an extension of the collaborative film project "Xterminating Badges" with the Zurich Cantonal Police. In addition to a multimedia installation, ceramic objects are on display that were developed together with the police officers at the workshop and modelled by them. The sculptures combine animals and police officers' tools: Pepper Spray Penguin, Taser Chicken, Elephant Police Car, Baton Snake and Computer Mouse Handcuff. Security and freedom are juxtaposed in the museum. The police dog (security) has come to arrest the jaguar (freedom).
